Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly stock sale at Matamata on the 15th June, where a good yarding of cattle eame forward. Quotations: Light Jersey cows, £1/10/- to £1/15/-. Smaller ditto, £1/3/- to £1/7/-. Forward conditioned cows 16/- to 21/-. Small Jersey heifers, 21/-. Boner cows, 7/to 14/-. Potter bulls, 27/- to 35/-. Small bulls, 5/- to 10/-. Dairy cows> (Jersey), £2/15/- to £3/10/-. 3-yr. Jersey heifers close to profit, £6 to £7/10/-. Others £4/17/6 to £5/10/-.
