MEN REFUSED RATIONS BY UNEMPLOYMENT BOARD

CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. Complaints about the Unemployment Board's ration card system weye brought before the committee of the North Canterbury Hospital Board fey a deputation from the Unerhployed Workers' Union. The men urged that the system was not satisfactory and suggested that the Government should be asked to ffand over to the hospital boards, money for the distribution of relief rritions. The committee said that. uritil the end of this month it would extend charitable aid to men who had h'een refused rations arid who were unable to sripport themselves.
