At Warsaw, Perry (Britain) beat Stolarow (Poland), 6 — 4, 6 — 4, 2 — 6. 7 — 5 ; Thoczyhski ( Poland) beat Lee (Britain), 6 — 4, 6 — 4, 2 — 6, 7 — 5. At Montreaux, Sertoria and Palmiera (Italy) beat Aeschlimann and Fisher (Switzerland), 3 — 6, 6 — 4. 6 6 — 4. The result of the matcb depends on the final singles. Japan has eliminated Denmark.
