VIOLENCE CONTINUES IN HINDU-MOSLEM WARFARE

CALCUTTA, Tuesday. [ Further Hindu-Moslem conflicts liave oecurred in Bombay. I Numerous stray assaults and stabijings have occurred in the side fctreets. I Scores have been injured, two fatiilly, despite the strong forces of armled poliee which are patrolling -the lity. I Two Indian officials, District MagIstrate Bose and Police Superintendent Kahnian, had a miraculous escape Rvhen terrorists flung a bomb at the Itrain in which the pair were travelling. I The missile fell in the next compartment, which was empty, comftletely wrecking it. i No one was injured.
