The Government meteorologist iasued the following weather report and forecast last night: — General situation: A shallow cyclone is advancing over the Tasman Sea j and an intense depression extends from T asmania across southern Australia. Forecast: Winds, easterly to sputherly, light to moderate generally at first, but later freshe'riing.
