GISBORNE, Sunday. On Saturday afternoon, Simon Baring, who holds an A license, crashed on the golf links at Gisborne. The machine was wrecked and Baring had his ncse hroken and suffered shock. He had hefin stunting over the town arid went into a spin at about 1O0 feet. The machine had recentiy beeri reeonditioxxed and had been fioWn from Hastings that morning. It was a two-seater, hut had ixo passenger. The oxxly part of tife machine that was not wrecked was tKe seat in which Baring was sitting. The engine sixiashed through Hxe front seat and the fusilage was smashed to match wood.
