Situation: An anticyclone is still centred in the South Tasman Sea, while a depression is centred over Victoria. Forecast: Winds southerly to easterly, later tending north-easterly; mainly light to moderate. Weather: Fine in wester'n districts; elsewhere squaliy, passing shov/ers, but mainly fair; cold temperatures becoming unsettled before the middle of thet weelt.
