MASTERTON, Thursday. A sequel of the level crossing accldent which occurred on the evehing of April 9, when a bus conveying a party of young people to a dance at Kaituna, was struck by the mail train from Wellington, at Renall Street, was heard in the Magistrate's Court io-day when the driver of the bus, Tames Thomas Rutherford appeared ?efore Messrs Free and Bowden, J-P.'s -:n a charge of negligently driving a motor vehicle i/herehy causing the leath of Franlc Muirhead Gillespie, x passenger in the bus. Ruther'fbrd ffeaded not guilty and was remarided mtil the next sitting of the Supreme Court.
