"It's deadly," replied the tobacconist, and continued: "The only way, I believe, 'is to roast the tobacco, same as the manufacturers of the New Zealand hrands are doing. They have installed an elaborate plant in their factory, I'm told for the purpose." "And does the roasting really get rid of the nicotine?" qneried the customer. "Most of it.
