NEW SHOWROOM There is one shop in Rotorua which is able to make advanee in spite of the depression. It is the "Sonia," in Arawa Street., Not long ago the proprietress, Mrs. E. M. Cave, found that the Arawa Street premises were not big enough to effectively display the large assortment of ladies' millinery, gowns and fashions in which the "Sonia" specialises. Consequently a braneh of the "Sonia," the "Mary Eileen" was opened in Tutanekai Street. Since then extensive alterations have been carried out to the "Sonia" and the showroom has heen enlarged to sueh an extent that it has been found posible to shift the "Mary Eileen" stoeks hack, and display the whole, comprehensive stock under one roof. On the other hand, so marked was the suecess of the "Mary Eileen" that Mrs. Cave has placed large orders for imported models for the summer season, and when these arrive in the spring the' "Mary Eileen" will he opened again in larger and more convenient premises. — ( Advt) .
