SYDNEY, Tuesday. The Premier, Mr. B. S. Stevens, has issued a -writ against the ex-Premier, Mr. J. T. Lang, ciaiming £5000 diamages for alleged slander, arising out of a statement by Mr Lang that Mr. Stevens' transport policy was fashioned in such a way as to serve the financial interests of the wealthy bus owner, who is providing Mr. Stevens with a driver for his car during the election campaign.
