DISTRICT YARDINGS

MORRINSVILLE Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual f oi"tnightly sale at Morrinsville yards on Thursday, June 2. A fair number of cattle came forward, which sold at the following prices : — Light fat cows, £1 4s to £1 15s; store cows, 10s to 16s; others, 4s to 8s; Holstein bulls, £2; Jersey bulls, 10s to 35s; yearling Holstein, £1; small erossbred heifers, 9s; horses, £26 10s. The clearing sale held on account of Mr. G. D. Crampton at the Morrinsville yards was well attended and the cows sold as under: — Two-year-old Holstein heifers, £1 10s; 'best Holstein cows, £4 to £5 15s; more backward, £3 to £4; late calvers, £1 5s to £2 5s; Jersey cows, £4 to £5 5s.
