ROADING AT NGAKURU
This week, the final batch of j Puhlic Works men employed on the ' .Ngakuru development schemes will be put off the pay-roll, leaving only a; bare half-dozen to carry on maintenance and clearing up work. At one ' time over 90 Public Works men were ; employed on road f ormation and I metalling work in this area, and dur- ! ing the past 12 months approximately | 19 miles of roading have been con- ; structed by them.
