(To the Editor) Sir, — ■ I agree with Mr. Vai'le's statement in to-day's issue of the "Morning Post," that we should get together and discuss the various land settlement schemes. I suggest that. a public meeting be called by his Worship the Mayor, to set up a committee to go into the various schemes. Also, it is necessary to ascertain from the unemployed whether they wish to go on the land. I would like to hear something from the Unemployed Workers' Association. There is a law on the Statute hook whereby a number of men may form an association and apply to the Government to purchase any estate which they wish to settle on. — I am, etc.
