TO-MORROW'S COMPETITION BETWEEN LADIES' TEAMS

MEN'S MATCH AGAINST TE PUKE Hockey enthusiasts will be well catered for at the Government Grounds to-morrow, when the Rotorua Ladies' Hockey Asociation will conduct its annual Aard Cup tournament between Bay of Plenty teams. This year entries have been received from the Whakatane, Te Puke and Te Teko clubs, and the Rotorua Association will be represented by two teams. The form displayed hy teams in last season's contest was of a high standard, and from reports received it is confidently expected that this year's play will be of an equally good if not better standard. To-morrow's matches will be commenced at 9.45 a.m., and games will be continued throughout the day, each team meeting each of the others. An additional attraction will be a mateh between the Te Puke men's team and a Rotorua men's team, which, although possibly lacking. in practice, will be composed of many players well known to Rotorua in men's hockey some years ago, and may therefore be confidently expected to be worthy opposition to the visitors.
