SUNDAY i>ARADE MARKS FOUNDATION OF MOVEMENT On Sunday last, _ the local girl guides in common with all the guides , throughout the Division, attended a ; special church parade to commemorate the 21st. anniversary of the Guide Movement. The local parade was held in St. Luke's and there were present 40 guides, 10 rangers and 16 brownies ; under the leadership of the following officers: — Divisional Commission- ; erMiss E. Harris, Guide Captain Miss J. Worrall, Ranger Captain Miss K. j Carnachan, Brown Owl, Miss M. i Lasenby and Tawny Owl, Miss V. I Holland. Scoutmaster Hawkins and his troop also paraded a brotherly action much ' appreciated by the guides. j The service commenced with the i National Anthem and concluded vHth j the Guide Chant, while durihg the i morning, the guides listened most ' attentively to a splendid address delivered by Archdeacon Chatterton.
