MARRIED MAN STRUCK BY FALLING TREE DIES LATER IN HOSPITAL

HOKITIKA, Wednesday. An accident occurred on Monday in the bush' at Ross, when William A. Smith, a bushman, was struck by a falling tree, sustaining injuries to the head which rendef ed him unconscious. He was broughf. to the Westport Hospital and died in^'the "ffiospital without regaining consciousness. - He leav.es a widow and two children.
