REPOROA, Wednesday. Reporoa suffered the loss of an old and respected resident to-day, when the death oecurred unexpectedly of Mr. Dennis Hartley, at the age of nearly 50 years. Mr. Hartley, who came originally from the North of England, settled in Reporoa— about eleven years ago, and took up dairy farming. He saw active service during the Great War. Mr. Hartley was in his usual health a few days ago, but was found dead in his home by an employee, Mr. Jack Harvey, early this morning. He is survived by his wife, who was away from home at the time of his death. It is not yet known whether an inquest will be necessary.
