They have installed an elaborate plant in their factory, I'm told for the purpose." "And does the roastihg reaily get rid of the nicotine?" queried (he custOmer. "Most of it. Sufllcient to* make it safe for the smoker to indulge to any extent. Greatly improves the flavour and houquet, too. It's a wonderful process." Replying to a further question the tohacconist said: "There afe only four brands of toasted: Riverhead Gold, Cut Plug No. 10, Cavendish and' Navy Cut No. 3." The customer is "trying them out."
