BASKETBALL

The Rotorua Basketball Association's championship competition was carried a step further on Saturday. Games played resulted as follows. H.S. Old Girls A 13 defeated Kowhai 11. Waratah 11 defeated H.S. Old Girls B4. Ngongotaha won from Kiwi by default. Seven-a-Side Tourney A seven-a-side tourney will be held on the Government grounds on Friday next, June 3. Clubs wishing to enter teams must hand the names to the secretary by noon to-day.
