aerial search of coast proves fruitless

Rec. May 27, 8.45 p.m. DARWIN, Friday. A Western Australian AirWays aeroplane, with three skilled aviators aboard, conducted a search of the coast from Wyndham to Darwin for the missing Junkers hydroplane. Later they diligently searched Bathurst and Melville Islands without success. They returned to Wyndham this evening.
