Rec. May 27, 7.50 p.m. SYDNEY, Friday. The election campaign is warming, up. A Federal Labour candidate, after leaving a meeting at Glebe, was bespattered with tomatoes by Lang supporters. A Communist candidate, Mr. L. Sharkey, addressing factory workers in Mr. Lang's electorate, at Auburn, was knocked off his stand, carried' bodily to an adjoining stagnant creelc, and thrown in. Sharkey's comrades disappeared before the angry crowd of Lang supporters could catch them.
