Rec. May 26, 8.30 p.m. SYDNEY, Thursday. The State Labour (or Lang) supporters, claim to bave candidates ±or 85 out of the 87 contested seats. Some described as Independents, they say, are really Lang supporters.

Rec. May 26, 7.50 p.m. SYDNEY, Thursday. It was announced to-day that four "Rnvnl Gnmmissions are being appoint-
ed to inquire into matters ax'ising during the Lang xegime, and covering the following subjects. "Whether the recent assault on Mr J. S. Garden by New Guardmen was the outcome of a conspiracy. "Whether there was corruption in granting "tin-hare" licenses. "Whether there was corruption in reinstating fruit machines in hotel bars. "Whether the Government was justified in appointing Mr. C. J. Goode as Chief Transportl Commissioner, in view of the fact that he was discharged from the Railway Department after the investigation of certain charges preferred against him."
