BERLIN, Wednesday. Broken chair.s, shattgred inkpots, smashed water bottles, glas^es and splijitpred gjass of electric lamps llttered the floor qf the Prussian Diet, |;he walls and benches of whlcb were bespattered witb blood and ink, after a willing battle between 160 Nazis and 54 Communists. The trouhle arose "vyhen a Communist shouted: There are murdererS in their ranks. The Nazis then rose en masse and charged with their adversaries, using their fists, swingipg chairs, and hurling bottles. The weight of numbers drpve the Communists into the lob'oies, the victorious Nazis pursuing them to the door. Four deputies were seriotisly injured and piany lnihor casualties oceurred. A Social Democrat, who tried to restore order after the other parties had withdrawn disgusted from the scene, had his jaw broken and was removed unconscious. A lone Communist later returned to the chamber with his head bandaged and swor^ vengenance on the Nazis. ' Three ambulances were needed to transport the wounded Communist'S to the hospital. When the last had departed, the Nazis (many with ruinecl suits and their noses still bleeding) returned to their seats and sang a triumphant war song. ' The revelation of the bitter feeling existing between the Nazis and Communists has dashed the hopes fof an immediate and peaceful settlemerft' of the political crisis. ; The Communist's aggfessive tactics and hatred of the Nazis render th'e attenipt at Parliamentary Government in Prussia impossible. The Diet executive has dercided to ad.iburn for a week. Dr. Kerri, a Nazi, has been elected President of the Diet.
