MEETING OF NEW BRANCH RECENTLY FORMED AT NGONGOTAHA A meeting of the newly-formed branch of the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union was held in the Ngongotaha Hall on Friday last, the president, Mrs. V. C. Florey, presiding over a large attendance.Arrangements were discussed for holding a social evening in July with the object of raising funds for a Christmas tree carnival, the proceeds of which will go towards the branch funds. It was proposed that -at the next meeting members should bring along any -article of clothing suitable for cutting and making children's clothing for those in need. .The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames G. Ford, A. Ford, K. W. Martin, Bryce, Wrigley, C. . Jackson, Dalbeth and Bruce. — jtfT'l'' > *
