MEETING OF NEW BRANCH RECENTLY FORMED AT NGONGOTAHA A meeting of the newly-formed branch of the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union was held in the Ngongotaha Hall on Friday last, the president, Mrs. V. C. Florey, presiding over a large attendance.Arrangements were discussed for holding a social evening in July with the object of raising funds for a Christmas tree carnival, the proceeds of which will go towards the branch funds. It was proposed that -at the next meeting members should bring along any -article of clothing suitable for cutting and making children's clothing for those in need. .The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames G.
