GRAND THEATRE
TO-NIGHT Actors and actresses who have travelled extensively in the colonies and United States are to be seen in. the British International picture "Keepers of Youth," now at the Grand Theatre. The director of the film, Thomas Bentley, is a keen admirer of Charles Dickens, the novelist, and in 1912, during a visit to Australia, founded the Sydney branch of the Dickens Fellowship of which he is still vicepresident. John Turnbull, who plays the headmaster in this outspoken film drama of life behind the scenes in a private school, sailed the world before the mast before becoming an actor and has played many seasons in South Africa, when managing Dennis Neilson Terry's company. O. B. Clarence, the second master, has visited America, South Africa and toured SwitZerland with "a company in 1922. Garry Marsh, the sport's master, has played in Canada, America, Australia and South Africa. Herbert Ross, the elderly master, toured the States with Sir Herbert Tree, and later through America and Canada with Marie Tempest. Robin Irvine, the newcomer from the varsitjy, has paid many visits to Berlin where he appeared in German films. Ethel Warwick, the matron, has visited and revisited South Africa and Australia, and Mary Clare, the new boy's mothei;, returned from South Africa only two years ago. • This much travelled cast, which also includes Ann Todd, presents a series of brilliant characterisations and enacts a story that will absorb
