A message from San Salvador state s that a violefit earthqu'ake. rocked the West Goast of Central America to-day, killing an undet'erminable number of persons and causing great loss of property. The bodies of six persons have been recovered' from the ruins of Zacatecoluca, 65 miles sofith-wes't from San Salvador. Crippled communication line's prevented receipt of te~ ports from other towns in the country. Bear is felt for San VinCente, which is believed to have felt the severes't part of the earthquake. The shake lasted, three minutes, and shook three Republics, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua.
