AUSTRALIAN STRENGTH IN LONDON FEATURE OF WEEK "N.Z.'s POSITION WORSE"

-By Telegraph— Copyrlght).

LONDON, Saturday. The News-Chronicle says that the feature of the week's trading in Dominions' stocks, has been the strength of the Australian, owing to the dismissal of Mr. Lang and the publication of a favourable trade return. Buyers of Australian stocks are now seeking the highest yields. These given by Australian four per cents, redeemable in 1933, and three per cents, redeemable in 1935. The journal recommends holders of New Zealand stocks to consider a partial change into Australian, as the Economy Committee's Sreport shows that New Zealand's position is Worse, with a strong temptation to devaluate the New Zealand pound.
