PLEASANT AFTERNOON SPENT AT ARAWA PARK.

Last Friday afternoon the Bay cf Plenty Squadron of the Waikato Mounted Rifles, in conjunction with the Rotorua and Bay of Plenty Hunt Club, held a most suecessful gymkhana on the Arawa Park racecourse. There was a very good attendance of both riders and onlookers and during the afternoon the oflicers entertained ( the visitors to afternoon tea served in one of the mess rooms. Among the riders and others present were: Mrs. H. Bertram, Mrs. E. A. Meredith, Mrs. Humphries, Mrs. McKenzie, Mrs. W. Ashton, Mrs. Newson, Mrs. Duffle, Mrs. C. de Lacey Smith, Mrs. W. A. Speer, Miss Mitchell, Miss Sargeant, Miss Hancock, I Miss J. Bertram, Miss H. Ford, Miss i M. F'ord, Miss Parsons (Napier), Miss M. Meredith, and Miss Erima Bertram.
