DANCE AT BRENTS
Dainty frocks and bright music added to the gay scene in Brent's ballroom on Friday evening last. Between the dances the ping-pong room adjoining was well patronised by players. Bowls of autumn flowers and foliage were the main decorations in the ballroom. Among the dancers present were: — 'Mrs. Hutton, eau-de-nil georgette; Mrs. Martelli, cardinal satin; Mrs. J. Smith, black georgette; Mrs. E. Dickerson, flame lace and fox fur; Mrs. Davy, apple green ripple ninon; Miss J. Merrielees (Tauranga), parchment panne velvet; Miss R. Steele, beige lace and almond green taffeta; Miss M. Jones, green floral georgette; Miss R. Harron, ciel hlue satin; Miss E. Sharpe, turquoise blue georgette; Miss B. Vaughan, biege lace; Miss J. Isdale powder-blue ninon; Miss'E. Jones, cherry organdie; Miss D. Davies, black taffeta and lace; Miss M. Williamson, apple green georgette; Miss Griffin (Auckland), ivory georgette and green taffeta; Miss Hancock, floral ninon; Miss R. Wynne-Brown, black satin; Miss McEwen, nattier blue floral georgette; Miss J. Gilbertson, ivory satin; Miss Stevenson, aprieot georgette; Mrs. J. Brown (Auckland), ivory ring velvet; Miss ' V. Hale, floral taffeta; Miss A. ' Brackebush, almond green georgette. ,
