Mr and Mrs. S. Lewis and family, of Cambridge, are visiting Rotorua and are the ghests of Dr, and Mrs. • Lewis, of King George V. Hospital. Miss Mary Bertram, who has been attending the Auckland University this year, has returned to spend the vacation with her parents, Dr. and 'Mrs. II. Bertram, of "The Mount." Mrs. E. A. Meredith and her daughter Margaret have left for a short visit to the Bay of Plenty district. Mrs. L. Clai'k is spending the schooi holidays at Mount Maunganui. Mrs Guy-Williams and her daughter, of Masterton, are visiting Rotorua to take part in the Rotorua ladies' open golf tournament. Mrs Ferguson, of Auckland, is at prbsent in Rotorua and is participating in the ladies' golf tournament. Mrs. J. D. Campbell Duncan and Mrs. L. G. Ashton motored to Auckland last week for the opening of the Auckland Society of Arts annual exhibition. Mrs. F. Moody and family, of Mt. St. John Avenue, Auckland, who have been spending a holiday in Rotorua, left for their home on Wednesday. Among the visiting golfers playing on the Arikikapakapa eourse this week in the ladies golf tournament are: — Mrs. Collinson, of Palmerston North; Miss M. Wilkinson, of Hamilton; Miss L. Dyer, of Wellington; Mrs. Hodges and Miss Hewitt, of Morrinsville; Misses Hartley, of Tauranga; Miss J. Wilson, of Auckland, and Miss' Dudding, of Palmerston North. Mrs. Foote, of Whangarei, is a guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. Banks, of Whakarewarewa during the schooi holidays.
