INVERCARGILL, Monday. An accountant, Mr. Ernest James Leslie, aged 33, married, employed hy the Perpetual Trustee Company, was fatally shot this morning. He was renioving a loaded rifl'e from a motor car when it exploded, the bullet enT tering his chest. He died soon after admission to the liospital."
