Sir, — I notice with astonishment that the xnanagement committee of the Rugby Union has elected to its executive a gentleman who, although he has heen in Rotorua for two years has I believe, not attended any of the games played. This does not appeal to me as being fair to the number of delegates and other ardent followers and workers who have heen passed over. In the creditable efforts of the present governing body to cleam the game up it is essential that all of its membex's should closely view the matches and for this reason alone, no * matter how capable in management a member may he, preference should be given to a person who has time actually to see the play.: — I am, . etc.
