MORRINSVILLE STOCK SALE The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report: At Morrinsville sale on Friday we penned a good yarding of sheep and a light yarding of cattle. Prices of fat ewes were slightly easier,' fat lambs maintaining Frankton quotations. Good quality fat cattle met with a good sale. There was a full yarding of pigs, comprised mainly of porkers, there being very few baconers and weaners yarded. All classes of pigs sold at ruling prices. Quotations: — Sheep: Fat wethers, 9s 6d to 11s; fat ewes, 5s 5d to 7s 3d; fat maiden ewes, 10s lld; forward conditioned ewes, 4s Id to 5s; fat lambs, heavy 11s 8d to 14s 6d; light fat lambs, 8s 9d to 11s; store lambs, 7s ld. Cattle: Fat bullocks, heavy £5 6s to £5 17s; medium fat bullocks, £4 8s to £5; fat steers, £2/7/6 to £2 15s; prime fat heifers, £4 6s; fat cows, heavy £2 to £2 10s; killable cows, £1 6s to £1 15s; fresh conditioned cows 15s to £1; boners, 5s to 14s; rising 3-year Hereford steers, £2 2s to £2 12s; Jersey heifers, r.w.b, £1 17s; Jersey heifer calves, best £1 5s to £1 12s 6d; others, 15s to £1; inferior sorts, 2s 6d to 5s 6d; dairy cows, sound, £1 10s to £3; springing Jersey heifers, £3 10s to £4. Horses: Good reliable draught horses, broken to all farm work, from £19 to £30. Pigs: Light choppers, 9s to 23s;
