Dunedin is to have a permanent fetreet mark of the exact spot at which the pioneers of the Otago settlement landed from one of the John Wickliffe's boats on March 23, 1848. The location is in Water Street, near the post office site. The commemoration tablet, sunk into the pavement, is to be officially unveiled on June 2,
