GUEST AT "PICKFAIR." That the Prince of W ales is expected to be a guest at "Pickfair," the palatial Hollywood home of Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Piclcford, is an interesting announcement made by Film Weekly. It is anticipated that the Prince will he entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Fairbanks during his proposed trip to California for the 1932 Olympic Games to be held in Los Angeles. "Pickfair" is undergoing extensive reconstruction and redecoration. It is now reported that the Fairbanks have hastened on this work in expectation of receiving a visit from "the most important guest they have ever entertained." Douglas Fairbanks has expressed his intention of planning his forthcoming South Seas tour to enable him to reach "Pickfair" in time -for the -Games. Although Prince George, besides celebrities of nearly every nationality, has visited "Pickfair," the Prince of Wales has never been to Hollywood, despite. his well known interest in films and film people. Famous screen personalities are eagerly looking forward to the prospect of a visit being paid to the film studios during working hours by the Prince.
