BUSINESS PEOPLE DRAW ATTENTION OF COUNCIL A number of business people on the west side of Fenton Street between Hinemoa Street and Pukuatua Street wrote to the Borough Council last evening drawing attention to the serious flooding which had occurred on Wednesday and yesterday as a result of the blockage of the culverts and drains during the heavy rain. It was pointed out that a serious loss of business had resulted from the partial or the complete isolation of the shops The matter was referred to the Works Committee for attention.
