CANADIAN PREMIER'S VIEW OF OBJECT OF OTTAWA CONFERENCE BELIEVE S IN RECIPROCITY

Rec May. 11, 7.15 p.m. OTTAWA, Tuesday. "Mutual advantage to every section of the Empire will be the objective of the Imperial Economic Conference to be held here in July," the Prime Minister, Mr. R. B. Bennett, stated in the House of Commons to-day. The Prime Minister himself will 1-ead the Canadian delegation. Mr. Bennett said that he believed the Conference must "sit down and cosider the resources of the Empire." He had always believed in trade reciprocity between the different parts of the Empire. The British Commonwealth constituted the greatest estate Providence ever gave the people and its development was a trust At Ottawa endeavours would be made to so adjust relations that beneiits would accrue to all parts of the Empire.
