POLICE SEEK FORFEITURE OF CONVICTED MAN'S RIFLE DECKE APPEARS ilN COURT

PALMERSTON N., Monday. An unexpected sequel to the Palmerston North murder trial was the appearanee . at the Police Court today of Norman Robert Decke, who is serving; a life sentence for shooting E. J, Blakeway. Decke was -charged with ohtaining a rifle from N. P., Hansen without a permit, and also with having an unregistered firearm. He pleaded "not; guilty." j Detective-Sergeant Doyle, who par-| ticipated in the investigation whichj led to Deeke's arrest, gave formal evi-i denee.
