Deliberate Damage
Acts of sheer wantonness have been committed by irresponsible persons in Matamata recently. An executive official of the Matamata Beautifying Society, whilst mowing one of the plots in Broadway, piclced up about 50 nails apparently scattered about, in his opinion, with a view to damaging the motor-mower. Directly opposite this plot a businessman had the ventilator grating of his shop kicked in for no apparent purpose.
