Apple Expert.

With three weeks of the apple export season yet to go, to date 776,691 cases have been sent forward for export from the Nelson district, and much interest is being taken in the mounting total, which is expected to reach the million mark (states the Well'ngton Post). Up to the same date last year 503,962 cases were produced and the t season's total was 815,000. Last Friday and Saturday the Middlesex took a direct shipment of 3-9,318 cases, 8,000 being loadad in one day. The Middlesex sailed on Sunday, when the Port Adelaide arrived to load a direct shipment cf 65,000 cases.
