TRIBUTE TO M.C.C. FOR SENDING TEAM TO DOMINION PRAISE FOR NEW ZEALANDERS

-By Telegraph — Copyright).

LONDON, Wednesday. The Standard, applauding the decision to send the Marylebone team to New Zealand says: "The charge of neglecting cricket overseas cannot be brought against the M.C.C., which is naturally anxious to help the New Zealanders, who r quitted themselves so splendidly last year. It is no disparagement to their cricket to say that perhaps they enjoyed their greatest successes off the field." An earlier message states that the English cricketers to visit Australia will leave Sydney for New Zealand on March 16, 1933. The counties have agreed to the team returning later than was proposed in order to permit it to tour New Zealand.
