SYDNEY; Thursday. Detectives arrested three men, alegedly concerned in the production f 60,000 counteiffeit postage stamps. t large quantity in sheet form was liscovered in asuburban house, and ilso a copper plate from which it is •lieved they were printed. Inquiries elicited that two men were issociated in an agency for the Irish pree State Hospital lottery, and the tamps had mainly been used in coniection with the business of this weep, which extended to all States md to New Zealand. Oharles Jackson, aged 33 years, and iVilliam Helmsley, aged 36 years, rere eharged with unlawfully acting 15 agents for a foreign lottery, and larry Elderfield, aged 42 years, an ngraver, was eharged with having a ounterfeit starnp making plate. All rere remanded.
