WESTFIELD STOCK SALE LOAN eOMPANY'S REPORT

BUCKLAND, Vfednesday. At Westfield sale to-day beef was in steady demand and values maintained late rates, reports the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited. Unfinished cattle were dull of sale. Quotations: — Beef: Choice and prime ox beef brought 17s to 20s per hundred; ordinary 14s to 16s; cow and heifer beef, 14s to 19s; prime \ steers, £1 to £9; light, £5 to £6 17s 6d; cow and heifers, £3 to £5 10s. Sheep were penned in large numbers and sold at late quotations. Wethers brought 12s 6d to 16s 9d; ewes, 7s 6d to' 12s 6d; lambs, 10s 6d to 15s 3d. Cattle: Runners brought £1 10s to £2 14s; vealers, £1 3s to £2. - 'j Pigs: Baconers brought £1 16s to £2 7s; porkers, £1 3s to £1 10s.
