BRIDGE EVENING

Mrs. W. Keith-Lindsay was the hostess at a most enjoyable evening party which was held at her home last Saturday " evening. Sim received her guests Wearing a charming gown of blaek silk taffeta and a blue and gold lame bridge coat to tone. During the' evening progressive bridge was played, the'wiriners heing Mrs. F. W. Moorhouse and Mrs. G. Nelson. The drawing room was exquisitely arranged with bowls of lovely chrysanthemums mingled with autumn foliage. The guests were: Mrs. F. W. Moorhouse, Mrs. F. C. Bunyard, Mrs. W. W. P. Hall, Mrs. Herrqld, Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. G. Nelson, 'Miss Stanton and Miss Searell; Mr. C. Lindsay (Maungaturoto), Mr. W. Keith-Lind-say, Mr.' Snelling (Maungaturoto), Mr, Hamilton and Mr. Kirk.
