SEVERAL ATTRACTIVE APPLE • * * DISHES ENTERfiD • THIS WEEK ; NEXT WEEK'S SUGGESTION For this week's competition the judge suggested attractive ways of using apples and several most attractive 'reeipes have been received." ' The"*total riumlbet of entries, however, was not as large as usual. The week's prize goes to Mrs. Tschopp, of 43 Pukuatua Street, Rotorua, for her recipe for Dutch Apple Cake. Mrs. A. S. Hyde is placed second for her Apple Cheese recipej Other apple reeipes received are also published, together with several tomato reeipes received last week. For next week the judge suggests pumpkin and marrow dishes as Seasonable.
