(To the Editor). Sir, — I quite agree with Mr, F. Boord that it is now time that the Council relieved the ratepayers of the burden of the publicity rate. This rate was struck sonie years ago as a trial measure, when certain conditions prevailed in Rotorua. Those same conditions do not exist to-day, therefore the Council would be quite within their rights in leaving this rate off the rate demands for the- coming, year. — I am, etc.
