ACCUSED MAN CHARGED AND REMANDED AT TIMARU

TIMARU, Tuesday. Appearing on remand from Hokit'ka, where he was. arrested, William John Thomas Whalley (33), appeared before Mr. C. R. Orr-Walker, S.M., in the Police Court, charged with the murder of William Edward Wogan at The Hermitage on November 5, 1931. On the application of Senior-Ser- , geant Mathieson accused was remanded till May 4.
