Mrs Fortesque wept as the events leading to the case were recalled. The attorneys will address the jury on Tuesday and there is a prospect of the case going to the jury on Wednesday, the result depending upon whether the jurohs consider the easq according to legal aspects or exqrcisq their human sympathies sp skilfully evoked by the defence in Lieutenarit Massie's and his wife's testimony. Many observers expect a disagreement or a compromise verdict on some lesser crime. h
