Lang, will introduce a Bill to validate any illegality arising from recent actions aifecting the Audit Aet. ♦ It is unclerstood ihat the-Govern-ment is .unwilling to go to the country and will endeavour . to carry on until the Privy Council's decision is known regarding tlie ' Legislative Council. . Measures :expectecT to rais'e r'evenue to meet the State's requirements inelude drastically ""-increased ta-xes on high ihconies: alid'-'earnings, a levy 011 property abovC a certain value and possibly the imposition of a capital levy as recommended by the recent Labour Conference.
